Information about WiseCracker's shows during the Copenhagen Comedy Festival on Wednesday and Thursday, September 1 & 2, 2010. Location: The Dubliner in Copenhagen
WiseCracker’s, in cooperation with the American and British Expat Meetup groups, will arrange 2 special all professional English stand-up comedy shows during the Copenhagen Comedy Festival (more information about the festival can be found at this link - http://comedyfestival.tv2.dk/)
The shows start at 19:30 on both dates. The address is Amagertorv 5
(right on the main walking street).
The shows will include approx. 9 professional comedians from around the world and last about 2 hours.
The line-ups for both dates are pretty much the same so you can choose the date that suits you best.
Confirmed comedians
Tomi Walamies (FIN)
- Finnish comedian who spent years fine-tuning his deadpan delivery on the London circuit. Masterful short-joke delivery at its finest.
Messiah Hallberg (SWE)
- 'Best newcomer' award winner in Sweden in 2009 and runner-up in the national 2009 Fight Club competition.
Joe Eagan (CAN)
- This observational canuck is (in)famous for his 'sit-down' comedy - pictures, music, and stand-up all rolled into a maple syrup mix not to be missed.
Martin Lettevall (USA)
- This American a.k.a. 'Mr smiles' is your host for the evening and a charmer in every sense of the word.
Jesper Rönndahl (SWE)
- 'Best comedian' award winner in Sweden in 2007 and currently one of Sweden's brightest TV, radio, and comedian stars.
Josefin Johansson (SWE)
- The queen of the Swedish comedy radio waves and nominated as best newcomer for the 2008 radio awards.
Ahmed Berhan (ERI)
- Currently one of the RAW comedy tour's brightest stars and Semi-Finalist in a UK competition in 2008 up against 600 other comedians.
Ben Kersley (UK)
- British expat living in Sweden who runs comedy clubs, performs, and has a 1-man show showing at a theatre in Stockholm.
Morten Otto Sørensen (DEN)
- Runner-up in Denmark's national Fight Club competition in 2009 and one of Denmark's brightest rising stars.
Steve Bernard (USA)
- American professional ventriloquist you've seen on Danish TV and is known throughout the world for his hiliarious act with 'Steve and Jack'.
